Forward Osmosis

Button

Forward Osmosis (FO) is a membrane-based water treatment process that uses a hydrostatic pressure difference across a selectively permeable membrane to drive water from a feed solution to a draw solution. The feed solution is typically of higher osmotic pressure, and the draw solution is of lower osmotic pressure, causing water to move from the feed side to the draw side. The solutes in the feed solution are effectively separated from the water, making FO an attractive option. Noor and son fluid management
